The Way They Should Go

2013 – Two Weeks In

It’s hard to believe, but 2013 is already two weeks old. It’s also hard to believe that it’s only been two weeks! So far this year, we rang the in the New Year in Dallas as The World Missions Summit finished, where over a thousand young people committed to give at least a year of their lives to missions. We spent the first day of the year meeting with the Latin America ChildCare leadership team, planning for a great 2013. We then returned to the D.R. just in time for the Dominican AG National Convention where hundreds of new ministers received their credentials. Two days later, our Dominican LACC team and their spouses met at our home for our staff Christmas party. (December was just too busy.) Carrie cooked up a turkey with all the trimmings and we had a great time. A few short days later, we had pastors, school directors, and principals filing our office for a meeting where we discussed a variety of topics from how to improve students’ chance of success, to strengthening relations between children and their sponsors. All this in less than two weeks and there’s no sign of slowing down. This year is already shaping up to be our most significant yet for the Kingdom of God. Join with us in praying that it will be and we’ll be sure to give HIM all of the honor, glory and praise.
